Drawing inspiration from nature and the Canadian landscape, Studio Natalie provides work that is sustainable by design, maintaining the most environmentally conscious practices. You should feel good knowing that each piece you purchase from us is made from 90 -100% recycled materials.

Studio Natalie works closely with local businesses to upcycle products that would otherwise be deemed as waste. Our goal in upcycling is to prevent wasting potentially useful materials by making use of existing ones. This reduces the consumption of new materials when creating new products. Reducing the use of new materials can result in a reduction of energy usage, air pollution, water pollution, and even greenhouse gas emissions.

All products are handmade, in-house, reducing any need for large-scale manufacturing methods that are harmful to the environment. Each piece goes through a transformative process of environmentally-sound cleaning, annealing, anvil hammering, and curator-style polishing. There are no harmful emissions produced when making any products. Any heat used in melting or shaping materials comes from the cleanest methods, such as kiln firing.

We use only environmentally responsible solutions when cleaning and shining our products; ones that are biodegradable and can be neutralized with baking soda to make them ph balanced and safe for septic disposal.
